Sketches of Atmosphere asks you to come together in a new space, to wait in a place between thoughts. Here, our worries and hopes and observations all take root, bringing gifts to enchant, suggest, and entangle our lives. Flashing through indecipherable sequences, strange situations arise through the unlogic of our subconscious. A dialog between dancer, audience, and musician perceiving the world around us, Sketches of Atmosphere places the vulnerability and concentration of the performers at its core. Performed in intricate coordination with the choreographer's live sound design, forgotten words, lost melodies and unanswered questions swirl as dancers confront one another, the space, and the audience.
